My Coaching Philosophy
Motto: “Champions are built, not born”
Success is found in doing the little things right. “It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.” -John Wooden
Over the past 28 years, I've had great opportunities to learn from renowned coaches; in-turn I've developed my personal coaching style and beliefs, coupled with proven philosophy.
The most important notion for finding the right coach, is they should understand what works best for YOUR body and be willing to tailor to YOUR specific needs.
Coaching is in my bloodline: I have collectively lead over 1,000 people to living a healthier, more fulfilling life!
“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”

I was born in Costa Mesa, California and was raised in Marietta, Georgia. While growing up, I spent most of my time on a football field. My dad was a Strength & Conditioning Coach and my mom was a Masters Pilates Instructor and Ballet dancer. It’s safe to say I’ve always been surrounded by fitness, coaching and sports arenas- it seems to be in my blood line. From the day I could walk, I started running around the football field and hanging out with athletes while they trained. I loved being around all the athletes and would join in on the conditioning, when I was allowed.
I began learning how to lift and the mechanics in 4th grade. All I started with was a broom stick. If you can’t move correctly without weight, then you shouldn't be using any weight! I began training then, and breaking records from then on. I also began coaching young athletes once I got into high school and continued til’ this day!
I played football for Valdosta State University and continued learning S&C from Michael Doscher (Head of S&C at VSU).
Since I was little, my dream was to play in the National Football League. In the midst of training for the NFL combines and waiting to hear back from scouts, my uncle told me about CrossFit. I couldn’t help but think that I would have a knack for it. Within a few weeks of our initial conversation, my uncle flew me out to California to workout with him and attend my first ever CrossFit Games in August 2015.
At this point, I quickly realized God had a different path for me. I was hooked the minute I saw the grueling and terrible workouts in the California summer heat. This was a turning point. I turned down the option of continuing my pursuit of playing professional football, as well as turned away from coaching football at a few colleges. When I came home from my trip to California, I called local CrossFit boxes in the area and started training and coaching in the sport of CrossFit. I was lucky enough to meet some fantastic people along the way! I want to inform and change others lives whether it be programming, coaching, or just talking with as many people as I can. As I hope to improve others lives, I also plan on continuing my relentless pursuit towards my ultimate goal of winning The Crossfit Games.
